Life’s challenges can leave us feeling burned out, overwhelmed, and anxious. Sometimes we just feel numb, as if we’re moving through each day in survival mode. If this is you, you’re not alone. I also know that things don’t have to stay this way. Hope and healing can be found.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, supported, and truly heard. My approach is centered on the person and their strengths, because I believe you are already so resilient.
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, from teenagers to adults of all ages. Through my experience, I work with individuals navigating health challenges, such as Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and other chronic health conditions which impact daily life and overall wellness. I also have specialized experience working with caregivers, who often carry an invisible emotional load which deserves compassion, validation, and understanding.
In addition, I enjoy working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma/PTSD, and major life transitions. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including CBT, Narrative Therapy, and EMDR to best meet the needs of those I work with.
The work I do is deeply meaningful to me. It is truly an honor to witness the healing, courage, and resilience of each person I get the privilege of working with. I look forward to working together with you!
