At some point in our lives, we will all experience anxiety—it’s a natural response to life’s challenges. Yet, when anxiety starts to feel overwhelming, affecting your daily life and well-being, it’s important to address it. Anxiety isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a signal that your mind and body need support.

Anxiety can manifest itself in various ways including persistent worrying, intrusive thoughts/difficulty controlling them, overwhelm, irritability, or a sense of dread. Anxiety can also have physical manifestations such as tension, restlessness, difficulty breathing, pit in the stomach, hot flashes, and elevated and/or irregular heart rate. It’s more than just feeling stressed; it’s a complex web of emotions that can impact your relationships, work, and overall quality of life.

Treating Anxiety
